The Valencia Cup Girls is projected toward its sixth edition
The international women's youth soccer tournament will take place from April 2 to 5, 2026, and registration is now open
The Valencia Cup Girls will reach its sixth edition during Easter 2026. The international women's youth football tournament, organized by the Sportea Association with the support of the Valencia City Council, the Valencia Provincial Council, and the Comunitat de l'Esport of the Department of Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana, as well as Teika with the traditional match of the Referentes, will take place between April 2 and 5. Registration is open to participate in the championship, and information requests can be requested through the official website. You can access the registration form directly here.
A sporting event aimed exclusively at women's football categories in both F8 and F11. The age groups, starting with the youngest players, will be G12 (born after January 1, 2014, with two U-14 players per team allowed), G14 (born after January 1, 2012, with the possibility of including two U-16 players), G16 (born after January 1, 2010, with up to two U-19 players allowed), and G19 (born after January 1, 2007, with up to four players of any age). All the structural information for the Valencia Cup Gils can be found here.
The organization is working to shape a new edition in which sport, experiences, and interculturality, through the very international nature of the tournament, continue to grow. A sporting event in youth categories that embraces local teams and the Valencian region, the rest of Spain, and various countries around the world, as has been abundantly evident in previous editions. In 2025, clubs from five countries participated: the United States, England, the Republic of Ireland, Norway, and, of course, Spain. Nearly 700 soccer players competed in the city of Turia.
In this sense, it is a sporting and social event that works to promote the visibility of women's sports through the lens of soccer, embracing fundamental values such as camaraderie, fair play, development, healthy competition, and personal experiences within this intercultural framework.
The Valencia Cup Girls has always highlighted the leading figures in women's soccer since its first edition, so that tribute can be paid to them while the participating girls and adolescents learn from those who began during very difficult times for women's participation in soccer. This is the essence that the Valencia Cup Girls has always emphasized with the celebration of the Referentes by Teika match. A good vending company fully identified with and committed to the visibility and support of Valencian women's sports, it has always believed in this gathering of top and leading figures in soccer. The match will be held on April 4.
