| SUNDAY, JULY 1
Arrival of the teams during the day
You must go to the specified meeting point.
You will be given the tournament literature: the magazine (including
information about groups, schedules, rules, non-sporting activities,
general information, etc), T-shirts (1 per person), each player’s
participation card, diplomas, etc.
Age check at the tournament offices
This is when the players’ ages are checked
so it is important not to forget each player’s identification
document.
Registration for the different types
of accommodation
You will also be given vouchers to access your
chosen accommodation. It is very important that you do not go directly
to your accommodation since you will not be given the keys to the
rooms unless you have the vouchers.
MONDAY, JULY 2
Matches all day
We get the ball rolling. Football - the common
denominator between teams of many different nationalities, races and
cultures - makes its appearance. Organisation officials are at hand
on every pitch to ensure all the help you need.
Official team photos
All teams are given an official tournament photo.
Photos are taken 15 minutes before your first match and are delivered
to the team manager before the second match.
Opening ceremony
A parade and music and dance show. One representative
of each nationality gives a welcome speech in his/her own language
and the tournament is declared officially open.
TUESDAY, JULY 3
Matches all day
The qualifying matches continue. Real time results
and classifications are posted on the tournament website and sent
to mobile phones.
Coaches’ match
All the coaches who so wish may take part. A really
entertaining, friendly event where you can work off all the day’s
built-up stress. This is the time to show the kids what a real footballer
is. Don’t miss it!
WEDNESDAY, JULY 4
Matches all day
Last day of the qualifying matches. The day decides
which teams go through to the final elimination rounds.
Gala dinner with team leaders
An event attended by two representatives from each
team. The tournament organisers and representatives of the Valencia
C.F. Foundation host a dinner which gives everybody the chance to
get to know each other better in a relaxed atmosphere. There’s
always a surprise in store...
THURSDAY, JULY 5
Partidos a lo largo de todo el día
Tension, excitement, exhilaration and disappointment.
The final elimination rounds between all the classified teams begin.
Some age groups play a grand final.
Visit to Mestalla
A unique opportunity to discover the secrets of
Mestalla, Valencia C.F.’s showpiece football stadium, personally.
Teams who so wish may visit the changing rooms, the press room, the
directors’ box (“El Casal”) and the trophy room,
or stroll around the stands, have their photo taken on the pitch or
visit the official club shop.
FRIDAY, JULY 6
Finals Day
The remaining finals are played in the morning.
The teams parade along behind their respective flags, the line-ups
are read out and at the end of the match the champions and runners-up
both proudly hold their trophies aloft.
The teams return home
The end of a week packed with emotions. The teams get ready to return
home until we meet up again at a future tournament.
